**Below is information regarding our winter party from our lovely room parents! **

Our class winter party is coming up and we wanted to share with you all the FUN and details.

When: Friday, December 21st

Time: 9:45-10:45am

What to bring?

* Students need to bring a special snack for the party. This snack is just for them, not for the entire class.

* Students will need to bring a wrapped book for our book exchange. It can be a gently used book that your child no longer reads. Please make sure the book is suitable for a first grade boy or girl. Help your child wrap it with wrapping paper and not a gift bag. A little note inside would be cute too. The kids will have a blast unwrapping!

What will the party look like?

There will be 3 rotations of games/craft plus the book exchange and time to eat their sweet treat. The students will arrive and we will first begin with the book exchange. After the book exchange we will move to the 3 rotations. Then once we have made it through all the rotations the kids will end the party with their sweet treat.

Arrival: Book Exchange

Games:

1. Winter Bingo

2. Reindeer Necklace Craft

3. Candy Cane Game

End: Sweet Treat

$$ Donations

This is our first party and we will have 2 more parties with our Friendship Party and End of the School Year Party. We are asking that each family contribute $2 towards each party with a total of $6. This donation will help room moms with the purchase of crafts, games and any other party supplies needed. You can send your $6 in an envelope and label it 1st Grade Party $$. Please send in by December 17th. Thank you for all your help.

Invite

Parents are invited to attend our winter party and help out with our fun activities. If you plan on taking your child home after the party, please remember that you will need to sign him/her out at the front office.

Adopted Staff

Our Class has adopted Coach Kirk this year! Please don't forget to shower her with love during this time of year. A sweet card, gift card, her favorite treat... any type of appreciation will be great!
