About Me

My career has allowed me to teach kindergarten, first and third grades. This will be my fourteenth year in education. My passion as an educator has given me the opportunity to learn and lead with students and adults alike. I absolutely love what I do and wouldn't think of doing anything different. I believe that I am not an educator by trade, but rather by heart. I was called into this profession and have spent over a decade pursuing my passion. My hope is to spend many more decades participating in and contributing to my calling.
I am originally from Beaumont, Texas and moved to Richardson, to attend the University of Texas at Dallas, where I earned my bachelor’s degree and later earned a master’s degree at Texas Woman’s University. I have been married to my husband, Anthony, for four years. We love to try new restaurants and make each other laugh. My family is a big part of my life. I spend a lot of time in Beaumont eating, laughing, and spoiling my nieces and nephew.
